Position Duties:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates post bid award. Prepare and update cost estimate as the design develops from concept to construction level drawing & specification. Work with project manager and stakeholders to develop budgets for project commencement. Responsible for responding to RFP and RFI and assess project cost impacts to prepare change order proposals. Analyze and evaluate actual and forecasted costs against budget and develop cost reports. Identify budget variances, recommend corrective actions, and identify cost saving opportunities. Evaluate price and material increases during project lifecycle and prepare cost increase proposal for owner. Evaluate bid proposals and quotes from subcontractors and vendors. Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to cost agreements. Responsible for vendor and subcontractor invoice review and approval. Identify and assess potential risks that could impact project costs. Prepare and present cost and budget reports to management and stakeholders.
